AHHHHH Matthew Matthew Matthew, he's gorgeous ain't he? He IS my god. I fell in love with him
the second time i saw A Time To Kill. Why not the first time you ask? I must have been blind that day, I don't know
, all i know is that one weekend here at school they were showing A Time To Kill and it was late sunday night and i was tired
of studying for a chemistry exam so i wondered across the street, and oh lord did i fall in love. For those of you who don't know
A Time To Kill was Matthew's first starring role.
Matthew played Jake Brigance, a white lawyer from Mississippi, who defends
a black man on trial for killing the two men who raped and beat his 10 year old
daughter. Though A Time to Kill was Matthew's first lead role, it was not his first
movie role. Matthew had small parts in Lone Star, Boys on the Side, and Angels in the
Outfield among others. Of his early roles he's probably best known for his role of Wooderson
in Dazed and Confused.
The next role Matthew took after A Time to Kill was as Palmer Joss in Contact with
Jodie Foster. Personally i enjoyed the movie. It was kind of a deep,
intelectual type movie, i found it quite enjoyable and of course Matthew looked amazing.
Steven Spielberg's Amistad was Matthew's next release. He played a lawyer in this true story about the slaves
that came to the US on the ship called Amistad. I haven't seen this one yet, mainly because none of the movie theaters
here in lovely State College showed the movie, but i hear it's a good one.
Currently (april 98) Matthew is starring in The Newton Boys. This is a fabulous movie with an incredible
cast. Matthew stars along with Skeet Ulrich, Ethan Hawk, Vincint D'ofrio(spelling?), and Juliana Margulise.
This is the story of the most successful bank robbers in the United States. The movie is hilarious, Matthew has
great chemistry with Juliana, and there's a bath tub scene(that's enough reason to go see it right there isn't it?).
Matthew is a gorgeous man and a talented actor. He also seems to be a really great guy. If you even watch
an interview with him he just seems happy and goofy and to be lovin' life as it hits him.
I can't wait to til his next movie comes out, i don't know what it's going to be, but
you can bet I'll be there. I heard rumors he's doing a movie about Evil Kenevil. All I
know is that i love him and i hope he has a long and successful career
